Henry County, Iowa

Henry County is located in southeast Iowa. It is named for Henry Dodge, governor of Wisconsin Territory.
The seat and largest city are both Mount Pleasant. The Skunk River flows through the county.
Henry County borders Washington, Louisa, Des Moines, Lee, Van Buren and Jefferson Counties.
Main highways through the county include US-34, US-218, IA-27, IA-16 and IA-78.
